REVIEW YOUR TEAM SCORECARD
CONGRATULATIONS and welcome
Congratulations on taking a step to build a functional, collaborative, aligned team that is Stronger Together. Everything you need is on this page. Follow the steps below to download your scorecard, review your scores, and take the next step.
STEP 1: DOWNLOAD THE SCORECARD
If you have not already done so, click the link below to download your Team Scorecard. After you complete the scorecard, come back here to review your results.
STEP 2: REVIEW YOUR SCORES
Check your score in each area (cohesion, clarity, CARE, productivity, meetings):
- 16-20: You are doing great in this area! Keep up the good work.
- 11-15: You are doing ok in this area but improvement is needed.
- 6-10: It’s a start but your team needs some definite attention in this area.
- 0-5: Your team is in trouble in this area and it needs immediate work.
Check your TOTAL COMBINED SCORE:
- 81-100: You are doing great! There may be an area or two to improve upon.
- 61-80: You are doing ok but there are some areas to improve. This is probably be affecting your team’s morale and results.
- 41-60: It’s a start but your team needs some serious attention, or it will be in trouble soon, if it is not already.
- 0-40: Your team is in trouble and needs work.
STEP 3: DISCUSS WITH YOUR TEAM
One of the most beneficial next steps you can take is to use the scorecard to initiate an honest conversation with your team about the results. Either share the results based on your own assessment or have the team fill out the scorecard separately and share the results together. For scores that are low or on which there is disagreement, ask questions such as “how does this show up in our meetings?” Most importantly, approach the conversation with curiosity and humility.
Before beginning the conversation, draw a line on a whiteboard, piece of paper, or online document. Ask everyone to stay “above the line” in the conversation. Above the line means that we are open-minded, curious, seeking to understand each other’s perspectives without interrupting or responding. Below the line means that we are being defensive and committed to being right.
